Registered Dental Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to assist in a variety of procedures, and excellent communication with both patients and team members.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
Take and process digital X-rays
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures
Chart patient information and update electronic dental records
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain proper inventory of dental supplies and materials
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning
Follow all infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
Dental Assistant certification (if required by state)
X-ray certification required
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, OpenDental, etc.) preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
