We are a private-owned Dental practice, seeking a super-star skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to assist in a variety of procedures, and excellent communication with both patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist our dentists during a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines

• Take digital X-rays and CBCT images

• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures

• Chart patient information and update electronic dental records

• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care

• Maintain proper inventory of dental supplies and materials

• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning

• Follow all infection control protocols and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred

• Dental Assistant certification for Florida Expanded Functions

• X-ray certification required

• Knowledge of all dental terminology and procedures

• Experience with dental software (OpenDental, ThriveCloud etc.) preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
